
Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
This program will help the graduates to fulfil the following objectives after 1 and a half years :
Analyze and apply basic knowledge and skills in all areas of food production and other related disciplines to provide quality products and services to related industries and relevant government agencies.
Problem-solving tasks across disciplines through effective communicative abilities.
Continue to advance their knowledge and abilities by utilizing ICT to explore business opportunities in the food and service-related industry.
Practice ethical and professional values in providing services to the recipients and providers of the food and service-related industry. Other than that, graduates of this program are expected to be able to put into practice the knowledge gained to strengthen the culinary art industry in Malaysia as well as be able to become a quality and competitive workforce in the future.

In ATAS Academy, your scheduled timetable will rarely require you to attend taught sessions by the given timetable. It is also extremely important that there will be somebody ‘teaching’ you, or with you, telling you what to do, for all of those specified times. This is the same for all courses.
COURSE REQUIREMENT
A candidate who wishes to pursue a programme of study at ATAS Academy must fulfil the Academy's entry requirements as follows:
To study at ATAS Academy, you must be at least 17 years old when you enrol.
A pass in SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including English, Mathematics and Bahasa Melayu; OR
Certificate, working experience or its equivalent in a related field.
